Sindupriya has an older sister who is studying at the same school. Her parents both suffer from leprosy, and her mother also has epilepsy. The parents both work as day laborers. An education for Sindupriya will help her in the future, not only in knowledge, but self respect and dignity, since there is still a stigma about patients with leprosy. Sindupriya is good natured and works hard in her studies.

Sing Thowai Nu has four siblings. One of his younger brothers is in grade 1. One of his sisters is in grade 6. The family is very poor. His parents do Jum cultivation, and they have no other source of income. Sing Thowai Nu loves to draw. He wants to be in the army in the future.

Sneha is from a very poor Christian family. Her parents are illiterate and are day laborers. Sneha has three older sisters. Her oldest sister completed her studies at the school Sneha attends and is now in 12th grade at the government school. Her other two siblings are studying at the same school as Sneha. Sneha is doing well in her studies. She likes to participate in activities, especially is it is singing or dancing. The family's income is very low and they have trouble making ends meet.

Shraboni Rita Tudu is from a very poor tribal family. They have only a tiny house, which is not very stable. Her father doesn't find work very quickly, especially during the rainy season. Despite this, she is a good student and does well socially and academically.

Stephen comes from a large family. He is in the sixth grade and doing well in his studies, He is a very smart and bright boy who always tries his best. He likes playing football and soccer with his friends.

The mother of Stephen John Ko died shortly after giving birth to him, their father is a border post guard, but he is very ill with jungle malaria and has a difficult time making it to work. Ambrosio is very thankful to the sisters for helping his two children be cared for an get the education they deserve.     

Stephen, is attending the sixth grade and is very studious and punctual. He has many Hobbies which include; reading, singing, playing instruments and playing football. He wants to be a good teacher when he grows up. 

Suborna is in fourth grade and she does very well in school. In her free time, she likes to play with her friends at the boarding house and they like to pretend play house. 

Suganda belongs to a very poor Christian family. she has two older brothers. Their mother died of cancer in March of 2018. Suganda and her brothers are looked after by their maternal grandparents. Their grandparents are unable to work due to their age and health issues. The family does not have a house of their own. They rent a house in a poor area. Her father tries to get work as a day laborer when it's available. The family finds it very difficult to meet expenses. Suganda enjoys going to school and is doing well in her studies. Her oldest brother has left school in order to try to find work. Her other brother is in 8th grade at the government school.

Thar Mwe is the oldest among three siblings. Her father left the family and her mother cannot support all of her children, so Thar was brought to the convent to be taken care of by the sisters. She is in the fifth grade and doing well in her studies, she is a good and kind girl who has a bright future. 

Thomas is doing very well in school, and his grades have improved since the school year started in June. Over the summer, Thomas joined the Holy Childhood Association (Similar to a youth group), and will be participating in the 175th Holy Childhood's Jubilee. 

Thomas is currently in fifth grade and struggles a bit in school. His teacher is very patient with him and works will him daily after class until he understands the course work. In his free time, he likes to play football with his friends on the field next to the school. He's very good at the game and says he wants to be a famous football player when he gets older.
