Chai Sing Aong has two older brothers and a sister. His brother isn't studying, and his sister is studying nursing. His father is a pharmacist, and his mother is a housewife. He loves to play soccer with his friends. He would like to be a police officer in the future. 

Chan Myae Aung is 5 years old and he lives with his parents. He is an only child. Chan Myae is partially deaf and mute. He also has attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. His parents work as day laborers. Their financial situation is not good. The doctor, physiotherapist and someone from CBR (Community Based Rehabilitation) visit his home to provide special education and physiotherapy intervention twice a month.

Charles has five siblings in his family. All the child attend school and his parents work as gardener. It is very hard for his parents to support all of the children's schooling needs on such little income. Charles is a smart and kind boy who always tries his best. He enjoys playing with his siblings and riding his bike around the village. 

There are five children in Chelestus family, both parents do not have regular work, so it is very hard for them to support the family. Chelestus is a good boy who loves being with his family. He enjoys going to school but is quite shy, so he sometimes has a difficult time making friends. 

Cherry Win is 8 years old and she lives with her parents. She has a brother. Her and her brother both suffer from epilepsy. Cherry would like to attend school but the school did not accept her due to her health condition. The family doesn't own land so the parents work as day laborers. The are very poor. The doctor, physiotherapist and a person from CBR (Community Based Rehabilitation) come for home visits to provide special education and physiotherapy intervention at least once a month.

Cho Nwe Oo is the oldest among three siblings. She is attending Grade VI, and doing well in her studies. Her family passed away due to illness and her mother struggled to care for her and her siblings so she was taken to our convent in order to get a good education. She is a lovely and active girl with lots of friends. She likes drawing and painting pictures. 

Christina is in standard six, last year in standard five she stood out first out of fifty-five students. Their parents live in Nong Kan Village, just outside of Leper Colony, and neither have steady jobs. Christina and her younger sister were sent to the Sisters to help be cared for and educated properly.   

Chritine comes from a large family, she has 7 siblings. Her parents are both very hard working but only make enough to cover the cost of food. She is studying in the sixth grade and doing very well, she is a smart girl who always tries her best. She wants to become a nurse when she grows up so that she can help those in need. 

Dharmik is an excellent student in good health. His family is extremely poor. He loves to draw and his favorite color is blue. 

Digonto father is a farmer and his mother is unable to work so she stay home and takes care of Digonto and his brother. Digonto is a sweet and smart boy. He always tries his best and loves to help others.

Digonto Theotonius Hasdak comes from a middle class tribal family. His family lives in a small house and does not have any land to cultivate, so they must go out and find work. He is a good student, currently in fourth grade and he is always eager to study! In his free time, he enjoys playing football with his friends in a field near the school.

Divya has an older brother in 6th grade in the neighboring school. Her parent's are day wage laborers but since the area has been hit with a bad drought, they have to travel to look for work.
