U Sai Mong is the youngest in the family. He has an older sister, and she is studying nursing. His father is a farmer, and his mother is a housewife. U Sai Mong loves to dance and hopes to be a future teacher. 

U Sai Swe is an only child. His parent does Juhm cultivation, a form of farming. He loves to play soccer with his friends and aspires to be a singer. 

Uswe Hla is the oldest. He has a younger sister who is in grade 6. The family is poor. His parents do Jum cultivation, which is their only source of income. Uswe Hla likes to play soccer with his friends when he is not in school or studying. He would like to be a doctor in the future.

U Swe May Sung is the oldest. Her younger brother and sister are both in school. Her father is a farmer, and her mother is a housewife. U Swe May Sung likes to dance, and she wants to be a police officer in the future.

U Wai Nu has four siblings. She is the second oldest, and her older sister is in sixth grade. One of her younger brothers is in first grade. U Wai Nu enjoys drawing, and she would like to join the army in the future. Her parents do cultivation, a form of farming, which does not bring much income for the family. 

U Yoi Hla is the oldest. She has a younger brother, and he is in Shishu class. Her family is very poor. Her father is a farmer, and her mother is a housewife. They also cultivate Jum. She loves to draw pictures and wants to become a good nurse in the future. 

Veronical father left the family, because the mother who is catholic also wanted the children to become catholic. Her mother has a very hard time support her three children all by herself. Veronical is a good and kind girl, she works very hard in her studies, and always tries her best. 

Villiam Manohar Paul has an older brother in the same school. His father is a day laborer, and his mother is a housewife. It is very challenging for the parents to meet the expenses of their sons' education.  Villiam Manohar Paul is a well-behaved boy, and he loves learning new languages, especially English.  

Vilson is the elder of two siblings, one is recently married, and the other is studying at the university. His family lives in a nearby village, so Vilson is able to walk to school easily. He is in his final years of high school and hopes to follow in his brother's footsteps and study to become a medical professional

Vincent de Paul is the oldest child out of 3. He come from a very poor family who lives very far from the village. The parent are both farmer who struggle to find work and cannot afford education for the children. Vincent is studying in the village school taught by volunteer teachers as informal education with the aim of taking care of the children in the village. 

Vincenza is the youngest out of eleven children, she comes from a large and poor family. Both of her parents are farmers. She is in the third grade

Wai Hin Arker is 14 years old and lives with his parents. Wai Hin suffers from an intellectual impairment. He is in 4th grade. He is looking forward to driving. He has an 8 year old sister. The parents are day laborers and do not make much income. The family has been given two piglets to raise in an effort to help improve their financial situation. A doctor, physiotherapist and CBR (Community Based Rehabilitation) visit the home once a month to provide physiotherapy intervention.
