Luke was sent to live at the hostel because his parents are daily laborers and often cannot get any work. Luke is a bright and clever boy, he is healthy and doing well in his studies. He is very happy to be able to study and go to school.

Assumpta is the second oldest of four children living in a remove village where there is no schooling and transportation is difficult to come by. After the passing of her mother in 2016, her father left to go look for work in different villages, leaving the children with his sister to care for, aside from caring for her own children. Unfortunately, after a year, funds were wearing down and she was no longer able to care for the children like they needed, so she entrusted them to the Sisters at St. Francis Xavier's Orphanage. There the children have food on the table, clean clothes on their backs, and they are able to receive an education they wouldn't have gotten otherwise. 

Ma Hnin Thet Wai Hnin lives in the Tongtit village. SHe has no place to live because her house burned down. She has six members in her family and she is the eldest child out of 4. She is fourteen and is study in grade eight. She is a very smart girl who is passionate about her school work. 

Her parents are in the village and they are both healthy. She is in the 8th grade and has one little sister. She wants to become a nurse when she is older. She helps the sister water the garden after school.

Ma Khayae Thant Zin is thirteen years old and is studying the sixth grade, both of her parents passed away. Now she is staying with her grandmother, she helps her grandmother around the house and is a very good and kind person.

Ma Mary Christine has four siblings and she is the oldest out of the four. She is thirteen and in the sixth grade. Only her father works because her mother is in poor health. She is a kind and smart girl. 

Mani is a young girl from the Akha ethnic group, one of the six minority groups living in the mountains of Northern Thailand that borders Myanmar, known as "The Golden Triangle." Her parents have modest jobs but it still unable to pay for adequate education for their children. Mani started primary school in June of this year; she tested in seventh grade, her first year of high school, and has been doing very well in her studies. She's adjusted to her new schedule and surroundings, she and her family are grateful for this opportunity through the sponsorship program. 

Ma Phyo Thiri Aung has four siblings, she is the eldest daughter. She is the only Christian in her family. She is in the seventh grade and is fifteen years old. She is a very kind girl, who cares deeply about her faith. 

Maria is a lively girl and always eager to learn. She is the youngest in her family. She stays in the convent so that she is able to get an education and she is very happy. She is interested in designing things and gardening. 

The parents of Marino are working as gardener. They have only a small field. There is no regular income for this family. The elder brother and sister are leaving school and helping the parents in the garden. It is still very difficult for the parents to support and see for the needs of Marino tocontinue his study. Marino is attending school in Taungngu. He needs of school uniform, stationery and school fees. So, I may request you to support this poor child, Marino for the continuation of his study.

Marko comes from a big family with six siblings. He is coming from a very remote village. There is not school nearby so he is at the parish hostel for his studies. He is in the eighth grade and very clever, he is happy to be in school, he likes to play different sports especially can ball which is Myanmar traditional sport. 

Ma Rose Mary has six siblings and she the is 3rd child out of 6. She is thirteen years old and is studying the sixth grade. Her father died three years ago and she is now living with her step father. Her family has a difficult time feeding the children because of how many people are in their family.
