Mary is the oldest of five siblings. She is from a remote village which has no schooling and therefore she lives in the parish hostel in order to get an education. She is an active and very happy girl, she loves living in the hostel.

May Thet is a very bright and active young girl studying in fifth grade this year. The children lost their mother at a young age, and their father has never remarried. Knowing that his girls needed guidance as they got older, he has asked the Sisters for help in raising his daughters. The girls have been brought up in the Catholic church and love attending Mass with their friends. 

Ma Yu Yu Aye is the oldest out of three siblings. Her father has health issues and is unable to work so her mother must provide for the entire family on her own. She is a very smart young lady who dreams of becoming a teacher when she grows up. 

Mg Henery is the ninth son among ten siblings. Henery is in the sixth grade and is very smart, he helps the other students with their school work.

Robert is in the fifth grade and doing very well in his studies. He is a smart boy with a bright future. He enjoys playing games with his friends and being outside. His favorite hobby is riding his bike around the village.

Mg Shwe Khae parents are separated and he lives with his father. He has three brothers and he is the eldest son. He is fourteen years old and is studying in the eighth grade. He is a very kind and sweet boy who cares a lot about his studies. 

Mg William and his two brothers are three of five children living in a village nearly 30 miles away from the Keng Tong hostel. While the boys aren't living at the hostel, they are lucky enough to stay at home since there is a school in their village. Through the program, they can have their tuition paid for stay with their family. Mg William is the oldest child and is in fourth grade this year. He is very smart and does well in his classes. In his free time, he likes to play football with his friends and ride bikes.

Mg Win Ko is the third son among five siblings. He is in the ninth grade and cares very much about his schooling. He always tries his hardest and is a good and kind boy. 

Mg Zar Ni Lwin has four siblings and he is the second son. His family has difficulties because of having such a large family. He is a very good boy and always tries to do his best. He is very helpful with the other students and dreams of becoming a teacher when he grows up. 

Michael comes from a family of seven. His parent both work as gardeners. His mother is not healthy and spends most of her time in the hospital. For the time being only his father is able to work to support the family. All of the children are in school. The father often struggles to support the needs of his family. Michael is a good boy, who is always kind to others. He enjoys reading books and playing basketball. 

Michalels parents are Roberto and Margarita from Gega Village. He is now in the boarding house and is continuing his studies in the eight grade. Michalel is an outstanding student and is very sincere with dealing with problems of his classmates. He is very blessed to have parents to care so much about and his studies. We are convince that with his ongoing formation in the boarding house, he will one day bring great hope to the parish.

Mi Ju is one of five children raised solely by their mother after their father'ss passing two years ago. With Mi Ju's mother struggling to take care of the children, she has turned to the sisters of Holy Cross Convent to ask for help. Mi Ju has such a bright future ahead of her, but without an education, that future seems bleak. The Sisters have taken in Mi Ju and her older sister to receive the basic needs, including food and clean clothes, but most importantly, they will get the education they deserve to grow and prosper.
