May Thet is a very bright and active young girl studying in fifth grade this year. The children lost their mother at a young age, and their father has never remarried. Knowing that his girls needed guidance as they got older, he has asked the Sisters for help in raising his daughters. The girls have been brought up in the Catholic church and love attending Mass with their friends.

Mg William and his two brothers are three of five children living in a village nearly 30 miles away from the Keng Tong hostel. While the boys aren't living at the hostel, they are lucky enough to stay at home since there is a school in their village. Through the program, they can have their tuition paid for stay with their family. Mg William is the oldest child and is in fourth grade this year. He is very smart and does well in his classes. In his free time, he likes to play football with his friends and ride bikes.

Mi Ju is one of five children raised solely by their mother after their father'ss passing two years ago. With Mi Ju's mother struggling to take care of the children, she has turned to the sisters of Holy Cross Convent to ask for help. Mi Ju has such a bright future ahead of her, but without an education, that future seems bleak. The Sisters have taken in Mi Ju and her older sister to receive the basic needs, including food and clean clothes, but most importantly, they will get the education they deserve to grow and prosper.
