Chan Myae Aung is 5 years old and he lives with his parents. He is an only child. Chan Myae is partially deaf and mute. He also has attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. His parents work as day laborers. Their financial situation is not good. The doctor, physiotherapist and someone from CBR (Community Based Rehabilitation) visit his home to provide special education and physiotherapy intervention twice a month.

Cherry Win is 8 years old and she lives with her parents. She has a brother. Her and her brother both suffer from epilepsy. Cherry would like to attend school but the school did not accept her due to her health condition. The family doesn't own land so the parents work as day laborers. The are very poor. The doctor, physiotherapist and a person from CBR (Community Based Rehabilitation) come for home visits to provide special education and physiotherapy intervention at least once a month.

Hnin Tahw Tar Moe is 8 years old. She lives with her grandparents. Both of her parents work in Thailand. She is in 3rd grade and wants to be a teacher. He suffers from left sided cerebral palsy, a physical impairment. A physiotherapist and CBR (Community Based Rehabiliation) visit her home once a month.

Khun Ta Maung is 13 years old and he lives with his parents. He has a younger sister. They both suffer from epilepsy. Khun Ta wanted to attend school but the school didn't accept him due to his health condition. The family's financial situation is difficult. Because the family doesn't own land they work as day laborers. The physiotherapist and CBR (Community Based Rehabilitation) come for home visits to provide special education and physiotherapy intervention at least once a month.

Moe Yan is 5 years old and lives with his parents. He as an older brother who is 9 years old. Moe suffers from cerebral palsy. His parents own land and are farmers. A doctor, physiotherapist and CBR (Community Based Rehabilitation) some to the home once a month to provide special education and physiotherapy intervention. 

Nang Ei Ei phwe came to live at the convent, after both of her parents passed away and it was unsafe for her to live with her aunt. She goes to therapy everyday and is learning how to read and write. She has trouble learning but the sisters are helping her to learn with the special education system. 

Nyi Htway is 22 years old and lives with his parents. He has an older brother who is married. Nyi suffers from Down's syndrome and heart disease. His parents are day laborers since they don't own land. The family is quite poor and has been give two piglets to help increase their household income. A doctor, physiotherapist and CBR (Community Based Rehabiliation) visit the home twice a month to provide special education and physiotherapy intervention.

Saung Thazin is 2 years old and lives with her parents. She has two older brothers. Saung suffers from congenital club feet (both legs). Her parents work as day laborers and make charcoal but this income is low. Their financial situation is not good. A doctor, physiotherapist and CBR (Community Based Rehabilitation) visit the home twice a month to provide special education and physiotherapy intervention.

Saw Pyao Oo is 5 years old and lives with his parents. He is an only child. He likes cars. He suffers from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. and epilepsy. His parents are farmers but do not own land so they rent land to plant. The family has been given two piglets to raise in order to increase their income. The family is very poor. A doctor, physiotherapist and CBR (Community Based Rehabilitation) visit the home twice a month to provide special education and physiotherapy intervention. 

SwetMee came to the convent after both of his parents died and his grandparent cannot take care of him due to old age. He is a little restless and has trouble learning, he struggle with his eyesight but is now learning more in therapy everyday, He can now differentiate between colors but is still learning how to speak and write. 

Than Lwin is 7 years old and lives with his parents. He has an older sister who is 16 years old. Than is partially deaf and mute. He also suffers from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. The family does not own any land sot they must rent land from others. The parents work as farmer but their income is very low. A doctor, physiotherapist and CBR (Community Based Rehabilitation) come visit the home twice a month to provide special education and physiotherapy intervention.

Wai Hin Arker is 14 years old and lives with his parents. Wai Hin suffers from an intellectual impairment. He is in 4th grade. He is looking forward to driving. He has an 8 year old sister. The parents are day laborers and do not make much income. The family has been given two piglets to raise in an effort to help improve their financial situation. A doctor, physiotherapist and CBR (Community Based Rehabilitation) visit the home once a month to provide physiotherapy intervention.
