OVER 150 YEARS - SERVING 17 COUNTRIES - 500 MEMBERS

PIME Missionaries' first priority, for over 150 years, has been the proclamation of the gospel, especially to non-Christians. Although that is the first priority, PIME works throughout the world to also provide hope and healing and to serve His people. There are many ways in which PIME serves the world and works to create better lives and communities for those in need and there are many ways you can help.

GENERAL WORKS OF PIME

The "General Works" refers to the primary works of our missionaries, touching the lives of the underprivileged around the world in the goals of alleviating hunger, disease, poverty, and human suffering. You can help PIME in proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, healing spiritually and physically, sustaining new Catholic communities, and providing for the physical needs of missionaries and those they serve by making a general donation. By making this type of donation, it will allow PIME to distribute funds where they are needed most.

SPONSORSHIP AT A DISTANCE

Our Sponsorship at a Distance program was built to support the Children, Youth, Disabled, and Seminarians. When you choose to support a division of this program you'll be providing things like nutritious food, clothing, housing, medical care, school supplies, further education opportunities, seminarian education, and so much more. By supporting this cause, you can truly make a difference in someone's life.

MISSION DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

Our Mission Development Projects can range from Health and Medical to Social Development to Pastoral to Education Training. This program was built to support the projects happening in each mission. The projects are smaller tasks that lend to the overall goal of the mission. Some examples of projects include: building a chapel or church, training residents in skilled trades, installation of a filter system for clean drinking water, and purchasing medical equipment for the hospital. There are so many projects you can help make happen!

VOCATIONS

A vocation is a divine call to God's service. Our PIME Priests and Brothers have a divine purpose to serve and dedicate their lives to transforming others' lives in the missions. Serving 17 countries, these men abandon their personal lives to help provide physical and spiritual healing to those who need it the most. It's our job to help provide these dedicated men the resources to do so.

SEMINARIES

Our seminaries are located in Italy, Brazil, and India. These locations are where young men train to become PIME Priests. These young men have a divine purpose and feel compelled to complete Christ's work. Often times these men and their families feel financial stress as they go through the education process. PIME offers the Sponsorship at a Distance program to help relieve them of this burden.

PRIESTS

Our PIME priests are some of the most dedicated and spiritually strong people in the world. As they have been personally called by God to serve His people, it's our calling to support them. Priests can serve large groups, and may need to travel daily to meet the pastoral needs of everyone. Priests provide sacramental needs in the missions, and in doing so become a beloved local figure.

BROTHERS

PIME Brothers are voluntary lay people who work alongside the Priest to provide healing and hope through spiritual and physical needs of those they serve in the missions. While PIME Brothers don't provide sacramental care, they do provide much needed care in other areas. Many Brothers have various skills and talents in areas such as medical, craftsmanship, business, etc. which are much needed in the missions.

SUPPORT THE CARE OF PIME BROTHERS

Our Missions can often seem bleak from afar as there is so much suffering and despair around the world. The reality of our missions is that they require much strength and faith of the priests and brothers that serve; however, the outcome of each mission and project is healing, hope, and a transformation the lives of His people! We're different in that we go where others will not. We're humbled to be able to support and provide the most dedicated priests and brothers who, most times, start in a mission from scratch and can serve up to 30,000 people.

We currently serve the underprivileged in 17 countries around the world offering assistance in health, education, social development, leadership training, societal promotion of women and children, ecology, and most importantly, an array of pastoral works. Providing a figure to look to for guidance, a safe place to worship, a better present, and brighter future, is what we do in the missions. We overall stand for the people, their well-being, and fair treatment regardless of economic status or beliefs.
