Clean Water For Mong Pan, Myanmar

Published Fri, Sep 04, 20. Written by Kathleen Connors.

Thanks to PIME USA donors the residents of Mong Pan no longer need to collect water in buckets from the nearby brook and have a new well and water tanks. Fr. Julio updated us on the completion of the clean water project for Mong Pan.  He wrote: “The funds for the project were received from PIME USA in March and materials were collected and transported from Taunggyi to Mong Pan. The construction work was interrupted by rains and the Covid-19 pandemic, but the work was completed in May 2020. The residents now have access to clean water and better hygiene. The bathrooms and water tanks constructed are much better and long lasting.  We are grateful to the benefactors of PIME USA for helping us to implement the project.  We assure you of our prayers for you.”
