Children Enjoy Solar Power and Clean Water in Myanmar

Published Fri, Mar 22, 19. Written by Kathleen Connors.

Sr. Natalina and the children of St Joseph’s Hostel are now enjoying solar powered lighting and clean water thanks to PIME USA donors.   Sister reports the project has been completed and the children are now studying under solar lighting, which power the study hall, bedrooms, and kitchen. In addition, the power lights the common areas of the community house and the nursery school in the same compound. The children are also able to have some recreation with television and videos. In addition, both the sisters and children also have pure water from their new well, pump and tanks. They now have access to clean well water every day for kitchen use, washing and bathing. This helps the general health and cleanliness of the hostel and the children. They are very grateful and blessed by your support.
