St. Joseph Parish in the village of Kdol Leu is located on the banks of the Mekong River in the center of Cambodia. PIME Missionary Fr. Alessandro Motti works in this historic, 100-year-old community among a group of 100-150 Christians. In this mainly Buddhist country, the parish has also opened two presences nearby as a work of first evangelization where there are no Christian communities yet.

St. Joseph is an active parish with about 50 children who come to the parish's Kindergarten from the nearby villages.  It is the only Kindergarten in the village, and most of the children are from rural, disadvantaged homes. Their 2-room school has teachers and a cook to provide them with instruction and nutritious food. With the growth of the Kindergarten, its teachers struggle to find an adequate space for organization.  Fr. Alessandro reached out to the PIME U.S. Mission Center and its supporters for help with a project of $5,556 to create a space so their teachers can prepare classes, meet with parents, and store their supplies. Your support for this project will help the Kindergarteners at St. Joseph in Kdol Leu to learn in the best environment.
