John is number four among five children. He is attending the sixth grade and doing well in his studies, he is a good and kind boy who always tries his best.

Johnny is in the eighth grade and doing well in his studies, he is a very bright and clever boy. The school is very close to the compound, which is where he likes to play football. He is very good football. He comes from a large family and has seven siblings who he enjoys playing with.

Joseph comes from a large family, he is the second youngest out of seven children. both of his parents are farmers and struggle to find work. Joseph is in the fifth grade and doing well in his studies. 

Julia Francis is currently in second grade and she is doing very well in school and in her free time loves to sing and dance. Her father at times comes to the convent with fruits, vegetables, and firewood, in return, he would receive a bag of rice to feed his family. 

Juliet is starting the ninth grade, she is the oldest daughter among three siblings. She has to help her mother a lot on the farm because her father is very sick. She is living in the convent so that she can get an education.

Kitikon is the only child coming from a poor family in northern Thailand. He has joined the program sponsored by his local parish to stay at the boarding home of his Mae Suay; there, he is given clean clothes, food daily, and education- things his parents knew they couldn't afford for him. Kitikon is in seventh grade, and he's been doing very well in his schooling. He has learned how to read and write in the Thai language, and he is even starting to learn some English. 

Lengngi is the oldest of three siblings. He has two younger brothers. One of his brothers is in fourth grade. His father is a Juhm cultivator, and his mother is a housewife. Juhm cultivation is the family's only source of income, and it does not provide much. Lengngi likes to play soccer with his friends. He hopes to be a teacher in the future. 

Li Li Nu has three siblings. Her older brother is married, and her older sister attends ninth grade. Her younger brother is in third grade. Her parents do Jum cultivation which does not bring in much for the family. The family is poor. Li Li Nu loves to sing and wants to be a singer in the future.

Lucia has passed her primary schooling and was sent to the hostel for higher education, her parents want her to be educated because she is quite brilliant. She always studies very hard and cares so much about school. She is a healthy and happy girl.

Lucia is the second oldest of five children, living in a village with no schooling and barely any work available. Her parents are farmers and are unable to help support their children. Lucia's parents asked their parish priest to help their two oldest daughters; he could get them into the sponsorship program to have the opportunity for an education. 

Lucia is in the seventh grade and lives at the convent in order to get a good education. Her father is very sick and her mother cannot work because she has to care for her young children. Lucia is eager to learn and is very clever. She likes to sing and dance and her favorite sport is soccer.

Luigi is in the seventh grade, he lives in the mission hostel because his family was too poor to take care of him, he has three siblings. Luigi is a very obedient boy and tries hard in class. His favorite game to play is football.
